Welcome to the
Umoja Choral Association
UMOJA’s vision and aim is to build bridges within the local and global communities by using music as its medium. Whether we share our time or talents, our members are committed to the communities we serve.
We are a group of young people, from different walks of life looking to make a difference ‘one note at a time.’ Our core values include mutual trust, genuine concern and respect for others, integrity of all, dedication to music and its spiritual component.

The essential elements of this group are:
Kuumba means creativity. It is a break out choir consisting of Umoja members looking to be challenged with musical pieces that may ask you to push a little harder as singers and performers.
If you are interested in auditioning for Kuumba in addition to UMOJA, please have this supplementary piece ready for your audition!
